Pigs are very smart animals and they know very well when they're out numbered and out smarted. But you trigger the maternal instincts of a mama pig she don't give a chit anymore and she will take you out if you don't take her. And if the pigs have you outnumbered? Like grandma said, keep away.

To say nothing of the smell. It's not that dangerous, but you need to be on your toes and respect the fact that they can be. Especially when the piglets are involved.
