of 'hard water', hence the spring stocking ? Had the same problem back in N.H. and even here in Arizona, to some extent ! Most of the good trout water is at (or
above) 5,000 ft. elevation, and those areas DO freeze over ! So, still waitin' on spring for trout
fishin' here, also !
