Fishing With friends

Went fishing much further than I usually travel but I wanted to get on some fish and i hear the bite was out further in bigger water.
One of the fishing stage regulars was here from Montana so we had an opportunity to meet and fish for a few hours.
I couldn't get him on any fish unfortunately, but we did catch a few little guys. After a while it just became drinking and hanging out and less about fishing but it was good time had.
Sorry we couldn’t get you on a fish, Tim but it was nice meeting you. Glad we could hang out a bit and wet a line and drink a beer. It was nice and I'd surely do it again. Hopefully next time with my boat.

Where's the last pic of?
Kinda looks like Hwy 37 bridge over the Napa River.. Not too far from where we fish for stripers.
I don't believe it is that bridge though.

I don't know what bridge it is. It is directly behind where we fish, its just cool that some people think California is all city and Hollywood.
This is my favorite part of California, the abundance of Rivers, lakes and tributaries and so many places to fish you could never possibly fish them all in a lifetime.
To be fishing a beautiful river and then turn around and see pastures full of cattle right behind you, I love it. Merica'!

Bass, bream, sac-a-lat(white perch). That's spawning time normally. It depends on the level of the Atchafalaya Basin. If we catch it just right it's non stop biting.

Would love to. There are so many fishing holes on this planet and there is no shortage on beer so when im over that way, i'd love to wet a line.

I found it. It seems like a great time.it just depends on my financial standing. With the covid 19 pandemic and the price of oil, I am currently unemployed. Living off of Louisiana unemployment is not fun. If it weren't for my girlfriend and friends that I have, I'd be homeless.

Hey buddy. I hear ya.
A lot will depend on the covid situation whether we even have the get together or not.
If we do, I'll be drivin my truck there and goin to Texas afterwards to visit all my family and fish and hunt with several guys from the stage there.
Also my Moms 93rd birthday May 20th. She's lives in Lubbock, Texas.
