never tried golf but those are some of the reasons why I didn't

Golf is a great game...amazingly simple, yet endlessly complicated.
If we get decent ice this year we will have a tournament this year using a single club and a tennis ball. If we have decent snow depth, we plow fairways with our 4 wheelers and will drill “cups” with ice augers and use utility flags to mark the holes. The pandemic may affect the tourney this year, but we can easily be socially distant out on the ice. One of the positives is your beer never gets warm. 😉

That sounds like FUN! Cold weather areas are creative in games played in winter. It has not been cold enough around here for safe ice for a number of years. I will tell a buddy of mine in Nebraska about your game. It will give those guys something to do in the winter.
