Just returned from CT Scans

I had a couple of CT Scans done this morning. One to evaluate the degree of diverticulitis in my gut and the other to attempt to identify cause of some weight loss I had this year. The tech had a tough time getting the IV in. 3 pokes and a lot of digging around before it was successful. I am NOT a fan of that.

Praying for good news from the scans. I would appreciate your prayers as well.

I'm not a prayer Papa, but you certainly have my best wishes for some good news. I'm what the phlebotomists call a "hard stick" and I always let em know right up front, puts em on their toes a little.

I went to urgent care about a month ago for the same thing. They gave me an IV with antibiotics and pills of the same to take at home.
Everything is ok now.
Wish you well on your treatment.

Thanks Spirit. Yes sir, I told them before they started. I don't think the tech believed me. Now I have a very sore arm with a bruise and a knot. Oh well, hopefully that will be the only thing bad that comes from today.

Nothing but good results on those scans bud. Will send all the positive energy your way. I have zero veins in my forearm. I got bruised too often. Big veins in my hands. They draw blood from my hands now. For my cataract surgeries, IV was in the hand. Not sure they can always do the IV that way.

Will say a lil prayer for ya Papa, sure all turns out well. Drive nj a bunch of water before going to get poked. It will make it a lot easier and helps keep veins from collapsing.
