“Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.”
Hard to do when you are catching at your spot and along comes someone wanting it.
Hard to do when you get cut off in traffic.
Hard to do when we let politics run our lives.
And Just as Hard to do when things not going our way.
But remember you are better then that, so once again :
“Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.”
Good advice. Like you say, very hard to do.

Thank you Plum words of wisdom these are.
Patience is not the ability to suck it up while waiting, Patience is enjoying watching it unfold.
It's Unfolding......
"Hard to do when you get cut off in traffic"
That one is easy. Put on a big smile and wave at them. Whole hand wave, not the one finger salute.
If they did it by accident and see your wave and smile, they will wave back.
If they did it on purpose to make you mad, they will step on the Gas and try to get away from you. LOL
Besides which you didn't get mad and loose concentration of the other traffic around you. And you can see the accident they cause up a head of you and miss it.
Your Blood Pressure didn't go up and you still are paying attention to all the traffic around you so you don't have an accident. You won and they didn't win. That's what I learned driving 25-40 K a year doing service calls.
Patience is normally easy for me, I just think I am fishing. I can wait hours on a fish. LOL makes waiting in lines so much easier.

fishing is the one thing where my patience wears thin
COVID has actually taught me patience...standing in line for almost anything now. Just breathe! Jerks on the road "See you at the red light!" and almost always do, ha ha

I learned, a LONG time ago, that others don’t get to dictate my life. Only two people involved in that and I’m second on the list.

I’ve learned to be more patient as I’ve aged but I won’t be sh$t on either though.
