Update from BadFisherman

bahmer Loc: Northern Illinois Rockford

This is the latest word from badfisherman.

Our Thanksgiving was nice, quiet and peaceful, Bruce...thanks for asking. However, my sister bounces in & out of the emergency ward almost daily and I worry each day wondering if she will make it 'til the next. Also, my brother-in-law, nieces and nephews remain in various stages of the virus. Thankfully, none are in the seriousness of Donise's condition.

I find myself recalling the below words of the Greek tragedian, Aeschylus. Though past the worst of my PTSD from dealing with grief and sense of loss...I face it again.

Even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget
Falls drop by drop upon the heart,
Until, in our own despair,
Against our will,
Comes wisdom
Through the awful grace of God.

I shall return to The Fishing Stage when wisdom overcomes despair.
