I just moved here in sept, from utah. So I need advice on fishing here. I'm used to fishing for trout and muskie. I'm looking to learn about fishing for crappie,bass and cats. Just bought a used boat a 17 foot tracker. Im retired, finishing any day is good. Thanks. Chuck

Welcome Chuck. I'm about as far east of you in TN as I can get and still be in the same state. I'm in Strawberry Plains. About 20 minutes north of Knoxville. I'm sure there is plenty of good fishing near you in Oakland. Crappie and bass fishing here really takes off in April and May.
