Help with fly reel

Hi everyone, kind of new to fly fishing so I could use some knowledge from you folks. I bought a Cabala Stowaway 6, 9 ft., 5 wt rod. Also, I just bought a Lost Creek Large Arbor Fly Reel because it was a terrific buy on Black Friday. Reel weight is 4.7 oz. Will the reel work ok with the rod? Thanks and look forward to your reply.

Reels typically have a line weight rating. What is your new reel? Mount it and see how it feels.

Most reels within reason size, and capacity will work on this rod !
Ideal reel would be #5 or 5/6 size ! The reel on most light rods is expected to hold line and backing , drag can be marginal , direct drives are best .
