Hello fellow anglers!

I have a place on Lake Livingston in Texas and am wondering if anyone is having luck with any bass species now and where and how you are having success. Thanks!

LivingstonMike: Welcome to the Stage. While I am rather close, I have no knowledge of Lake Livingston. Mostly when I was actively fishing, it was by boat in Galveston bays. There are a lot of fishermen in the area and someone will pop up soon. Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome to the stage. Good luck, and I’m also sure someone from around there will be along shortly with some advise.

I have a buddy that has a place on Lake Livingston, but he only fishes about a few times a year. He doesn't know shi! about the fish there.

Mike: Look at the thrill and challenge you have of discovery. Go out and find some honey holes for yourself. If you have a boat and electronics, you will have a great time exploring and plotting the location of both crappie and bass. Then also look for schools of shad and in pursuit of them will be both white or sand bass and stripers. Just Sayin....RJS

When we lived in Houston, we had a.weekend escape to cabin in Holiday Lakes that was was 8 miles so. of Livingston. I caught numerous black bass using Texas rigged strawberry worms. It won't cost much to give them try.
