Some people just hate liberals so badly that they see them everywhere. Just waiting to jump and take away their guns or enforce some unnecessary regulation, like size and number limits. Fishing seasons, for christ sake.

They can rant about many other people.Hunters chasing what they shot or put an arrow into that has not died yet and are running suffering until they die. This is just unfortunately how it is and you can not change it.I bet this person eats fish or knows someone who does and does not get on their case for eating fish that suffered.

I plant trees , eat theyre fruit, pay for fish stocking, catch them, throw them back,
Chop the trees and use them as fire sometimes to cook the fish I don't throw back!

Hey,
What about the poor fruits and vegetable we eat! How do you think they feel??? Maybe

Big A.... few people have a bigger sense of humor than myself. If this was done in jest then in my opinion it was done in poor taste with little humor. Let me explain, if the fat is being chewed and someone segues off on a humor trail, I say anything goes. However as an initial post, good taste should be exercised. For example, on a Christian forum I post " people that believe in God are dumb and statistically have below average IQ's" or a wounded veterans website "you people need to stop whining and begging for money. You should have been a better soldier and avoided injury" or a high school website " kids, forget school. You don't need an education to be a success. Disrespect your teachers, drink lots of alcohol and use lots of drugs. You are only young once"

How does saying, I was just kidding, I was just pulling your chain, i got you! HA HA make any of the examples funny. It doesn't! Those a triggers that create a breeding ground for strong emotional reactions. We've all heard the expression " those are fighting words." And there you have it, the point I am trying to make.

Sorry you took it so seriously !
As for myself, other than political jokes (of which too many get elected), I try not to take too
much on here too seriously !
There IS a lot of 'chain pulling'
on this site, and I just try to take most of it as such ! I kinda took
it at face value (and was less
than thrilled) at first, until I
realized that he wasn't serious about what he posted !

Man, I'm good with and participate and do everything you mentioned. I have a lot of fun with it. My only objection or caution is"first impression is the lasting impression", there is "often a super fine line between being funny and offensive (lots of personal experience with that one! Lol)" and last " pissing people off is easy, being funny requires a little creativity and effort" like this

Now that I have self awareness about my cruelty it will be a defining moment in my life when I feel a fish take my bait. To set or not to set? That is the question......

Ah ! We have a scholar in our midst ! Just a little paraphrase
on Hamlet's soliloquy, I take
it ? Very 'à propos' ! Kudos, my
friend ! Well done !

(Incidentally, isn't there a tune or phrase regarding that subject,
like 'you've got to be cruel to be kind' ?) Just askin' !

99.9% sure the process will go like this

1) Getting a nible!
2) Set the hook!
3) Reel in the fish!
4) Cuddle with and make reassuring grunts to the fish.
5) Serve gourmet prepared baitfish with a local red wine
6) use an underwater limousine service to return the fish to the exact spot I caught it.
7) mark a waypoint so I will never fish that spot again. .. lol

I'm pretty sure all those stumps and rocks that I set the hook on when I thought I had a bite are going to continue to feel the sting of my hook.
