HI Guys,

I am TJ from Houston, Texas. I love salt water fishing, I used to have a boat but now I go to coastal areas for fishing. My favorite two Ares are Matagorda and Palacios. I go to the jetties in Matagorda and to the pier in Palacios.
I wish I know more Areas to fish not too far from Houston, Texas. I know Matagorda have more spots to fish but I am not sure how to get to it so is Palacios. Someone mentioned cemetery streets in Matagorda, I will try to discover that area next, maybe tonight.

We had a regular fella from West of Houston that would bass fish the ponds where he worked and also the Galveston area and he caught a lot of fish but then he vaporized, not sure what happen to him. We do have a lot of members from the Houston area, so, they should be able to help you out.

TJ Welcome. I am also living in Houston. However, due to the epidemic and that I'm 86 and partially crippled, I am not as active fishing as I once was. Mostly all I do is to take an 8 year old nephew to stock tanks to teach him how to fish.

I don't know if you've ever fished by wading in the Boliver pocket, but keep that in mind next spring. It is a triangle bordered by the East Galveston Jetty and the beach. A lot of school trout can be found in there during the spring. Just Sayhin...RJS
