My name is Rich I live in Leesburg, 40 min east of you on Lake Griffin,part of the Harris chain of lakes i I'll talk to my friend who fishes out of Crystal River and ask him for some good hot spots and bait. I have a 23' Hurricane Deck boat, 150hp Yamaha. Fish for Bass and Crappie.

Welcome Allison I live in Floral City 18 miles east of you. If your want to fish for salt water fish go out Fort Island Rd. to Fort Island Park. There's a nice fishing pier use live shrimp for bait. If you have a boat there's good fishing almost any where in Crystal River. If you prefer bass fishing drop me a line I can tell you about several lakes over here by me.

I'm planning on moving in that area in the next 6 months spent some time on the Harris chain and Orange lake. Can't wait to be down there permanently. Hope to meet up with some of you in the Hernando area then.
