Hello everyone. New to the forum from southeast Ga. I fished a lot as a teenager. Only used live bait, cast and wait, with a Zebco 33. I stopped fishing for atleast 25 years. I started fishing with my daughter a few months ago and now I’m hooked again. I’m very interested in bass fishing, but I don’t know a lot about it. I’ve bought and learned to cast a bait caster, and I’ve caught a couple of small ones in private ponds the last few weeks, but I’m not having much luck. I’m gonna keep reading all I can about it, and just keep fishing. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Well, I'm clear across the country from you, I don't fish for bass as a rule, but I do welcome you to the fishing stage. You'll get a lot of advice on bass fishing, just hang in there. And then post some photos, we love those.

Welcome to the Forum, Reddman. Try to find a buddy who knows how to fish. He will know where the local "holes" are and give you many pointers.
Welcome, I’m in the Valdosta area. Check the local bait shops and fish camps for tips. Don’t forget the rivers & creeks . Good luck
