SeaMore Loc: Chincoteague Island, VA

Greetings,
New to this site and doing a bit of exploring. Got the fishing itch and want to float to Blackfish Banks off the coast of Chincoteague. Been there couple times, having lived here on the Island for over 20 yrs.
Yearning to learn more about what's out there this time of year - love going offshore - I watch the Marine forcast and the wave height prediction. I'll only go when 1 - 2 feet....(Don't like rough waters) Less than 2 ft predicted for the coming Saturday and thinking of venturing out in my 20 footer..........
Any thoughts?
Many Thanks!
SeaMore

my first thought was how impressed I am you could spell that word (Chincoteague), that's a mouth full, especially with this crowd. Nice! Ever read the book "Glass Bathing Suits" by Seemore Hair?

Go for it SeaMore and by all means pics, can't say i've seen any of the Chincoteague. Except for those delicious Chincoteague oysters.

Hey sun bum, SeaMore also wrote " The Invisible Bikini "

Sorry, I'm no help for your neck of the waters. But look at it this way, there's a lot of fishing where you must do some exploration on your own, like exactly where, which lure, what time and such? Even if another fisherman was trying to give you his best advice, it would still be up to you to implement those suggestions. Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome to the stage SeaMore, the latest hot thing up here, for Blackfish is the Tog jig with half a crab on it. Check your local tackle shop. Good luck.

Seemore was a name my fellow classmates in the 4th grade hung on me (50 years ago) when I showed up wearing new eyeglasses so I could see the chalk board. I just changed one letter - seemed to fit during registration on this site.....
Is anyone fishing the Chesapeake Bay?
