thats 2500/ month for 2 ppl,all taxes, fees, breakfasts included. you don't get an apartment in nyc for that.

I guess I somehow missed the part about IF YOU WANT TO MOVE FROM NEW YORK TO SOMEWHERE ELSE, and do not have a job obligation, but have $30-50+/year income, somehow. If that's the case, your suggestion is one of literally hundreds, maybe thousands available....so what's your point of this post ?

It had just come on fox news that Cuomo may shut down New York again, Then Fox and Friends showed this resort and told how it was a choice how NYC work at homes could move to a postcard place for a year for prolly less money. I had no idea where Maldives even was. looked it up and saw the resort and thought, how many p laces can you take a 1/4 mile walk from your house and cast into 3 -400 feet of the clearest water on the planet?By the way, hundreds of thousands have moved from NY to somewhere else ALREADY.

We have a Vacation Rental that belongs to a neighbor a mile down the road that has been rented to a Bostonian since March. Said he wasn't leaving until Covid is over. He works from home, drinks beer while he works, and with others, a nice guy. He fits in out here. He doesn't hunt or fish because no one taught him how, and it takes away from beer time. He's happy.
