Which Top-Water Walking Bait Should You Choose? Walking Bait Breakdown;
The Hook Up Tackle:
In today's video, we are talking all about topwater walking baits and breaking down some of our favorite ones! We explain for each one why and when we like to throw it and the different unique features for each one!
Just found you guys! Love it. This has a bit of a โWayneโs Worldโ look๐ฅณ loved it! Party on.
Who cares about the baits, that OSP hat hippie is wearing is awesome!
Awesome as always. Cats out of the bag, all the awesome content that was on IG live is out for the masses!! And where we can share it and watch it over and over again!
Thank you for breaking down my favorite technique . Great in depth presentation!
So if it's loud outside go loud & if it's quite go silent. When I first started throwing a Pompadour I thought the lure scared the shit out of all the fish in 200 foot radius but for whatever reason it catches fish on the chop & on glass. It's been especially productive at Pleasant for catching stripers. You're a good teacher, thorough explanations + solid solutions to common mistakes. I appreciate that you're not just pushing product.
Awesome detail and breakdown. I subscribe to a ton of fishing channels (and now one more!). Glad I "stumbled" upon you guys. Looking forward to your content.
Awesome content from you guys, so glad you started a youtube channel. If I may suggest a future topic, I'd like to hear about some wake baits. As far as line goes with top water I'm braid to mono all the way! Keep them coming guys thanks.
I don't think fish sit there and think like "I'm not going to even look at it.."- I think it's much worse, I think the knock triggers a fear response. Not a memory- I don't think they have memory like we think of it, just a fear response, they have no idea why they're even scared- they just know they are. Same way they have no idea why a lure wiggling a certain way makes them want to bite- they don't question their instincts- they just follow them until they're conditioned to do otherwise. That means if someone's in the area with a loud walking bait they may not bite yours even though it's silent- I would like to see that experiment done and see what happens. I have a feeling once that conditioned bass hears that knock she's not biting anything- she's hiding until she feels it's out of the area.
I really wouldโve loved to see the Duo Realis pencil 85 and 110 in this video. I feel like theyโre kind of underrated walking baits that need to get more love! Iโd love to see a video on some of the Duo products you guys carry as Iโm a huge fan of all of their stuff.
