Similar question; I know they're like a 'first cousin' to walleye, but are they as tasty ? Never had the opportunity to try either (yet), but looking forward to my first taste of walleye (soon, I hope ) !
Incidentally, nice catch (again),
Mikey ! You da man !

They look pretty much the same on the outside and taste pretty much the same on the inside. Good job there, Mike. Thanks for sharing, did you catch them on your spoon?

Caught them on a 1/4 oz round head jig with a chartreuse grub tipped with a small minnow in about 25 foot of water.

And that 1/4 oz jig took you down in 25 ft. of water? You must not have had any current. Did you try the slab spoon?

Very little current it takes a little while for it to reach the bottom and then I fished it slowly with a kinda stop and go so it will stay down. I have tried the spoons but they go down to hard and snag.
