We are going to try surf fishing the gulf coast and north east Florida coast. I tried it as a teenager years ago. Headed to south of Jacksonville Florida mid January

Get it out in the breakers. Thats where the fish are. Good luck and send pics. Use shrimp or minnows for bait.

Local bait is shrimp and fishbones. #1 circle hook and about 3-4oz pyramid sinker. Peel the shrimp. Tight Lines

In northeast Florida get within a few miles of the mouth of the St. John's River. Mayport on the south side DK northside names.
