Caught and released 32 Rainbows and 1brown Trout. Caught most of them on my 4 bead rainbow trout fly I design myself. Some caught on tan scuds I tied myself and two on a black and white zebra midge. It was a lot of fun my shoulders hurt my legs don't function and my hand can hardly text. But it was still fun.

The ones that work the best are the small ones on the left bottom like the one in my hand.

What size hook are you using for your small bead flies 12 ,14? Are the beads glass or plastic ?
Thanks

They are wood and I use permanent marker to color them. I think the hook size is 10 or 12 not sure I've been going through my old tackle box.

Thanks, I picked up some small glass beads fromWalmart a couple days ago. I put 3 on size 10 scud hooks over red and chartruse threads. The thread forms the head and butt. The beads are white pearlescent, grey/ brown granite tone and tungston grey. I will have to wait to try them, not fishing in the near future.

The hooks i use are size 14 go to hobby lobby and get the wooden beads they are not in the wooden bead section they are in the crafts area.
