Depends on where you are. If you're around Barnegat inlet, not much. Island beach SP has had some stripers. I understand Sandy Hook has had a few fish. Havent heard anything south of Brigantine or Atlantic City.

If you're into rock hopping your best shot might be the south jetty. Access ffom the state park or walkout and north on the beach. Either way it's a hike if you do Barnegat drop me a pm. I might be on the beach Tuesday.

Fishing in Tuckerton this morning, a guy new to the area stopped by to ask a few questions. He offered that he used to live in Belmar and said he heard that some stripers were in that area this weekend.

According to Ristori's column yesterday a pretty well known surfcaster said 'the big stripers haven't arrived yet'.
I've been walking across Rte 35 each day 4 or 5 times and have not seen any bird activity close enough for a surfcaster to reach. They were about a 1/4 of a mile off this past Saturday. If and when I'll post it.

A quarter mile? Potato gun to launch bait is sounding better all the time!
