Welcome to the Forum, Steve, Nov. is a good time to be fishing Myrtle Beach, oh he!!, anytime is a good time to be fishing Myrtle Beach. I would do four things the first day; 1. Try to find a local fishing forum and see what they have to say. 2. Take a walk along the beach and talk to the local surf fishermen, they will be the ones with the beach carts. 3. Take a walk out on the pier, and again, talk to the local fishermen, they too will be the ones with the beach carts. That afternoon, go to a local tackle shop, not a big box store, and pick up some live shrimp and talk to the people in there as to what to use and how to use it. Good Luck and Tight Lines!

. The OBX they are still catching drum from the beach. Haven't heard much about blues, but seagulls are usually around too. Might still be catching pompano but I haven't heard anything there either. Simple bottom rig, finger mullet or chunks , shrimp for bait. Myrtle Beach is just a little south,so . Good luck.

hey Steve, pompano, red drum, black drum, flounder, are all biting on garden city pier,, using live or dead shrimp, live finger mullet, or cut mullet. fish under pier and around pilings for flounder, and in the surf and i mean white water for red drum and pompano. PS. DO NOT lay your rod down and walk off without putting in free spool with clicker on as some of those fish are big enough yank it over. GOOD LUCK.

Absolutely what he said. Don't let go of the rod without having it spiked and I mean a foot into the sand.

Nov is a great month here. Get out on a boat if you can and if you want charter with some guys who know
the area either off shore or in shore. Guys I like are Baish Brothers they also own a bait shop in
Murrells Inlet. They can also give you some tips. Tell them Grand Strand Saltwater Anglers sent you. Don't have their number but you can look it up.

Spots and virginia mullets are biting now. Baits of choice are shrimp and blood worms.
