I have around $250-300 spendable at the moment and have been interested in getting a dc reel. I’ve been looking at the Curado DC. I was wondering if I should pull the trigger on that, or try and save up for the Antares in a month or two. Obviously fishing season is almost here so I’m antsy to buy the Curado right now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Or any sort of alternatives. I would be purchasing the newest Curado DC.

I have the curado dc and its fun but doesn't seem much better than the K. I would save up for the new antares or get a metanium or bantam from japan 300ish.

I more or less just have wanted a DC due to how it sounds/how fun it is as you said. I have a bantam already so Tht is covered. I appreciate your feedback!

Go for it ! I got one and love it ,its the best . I used to live in a backlash with any other bait caster till I got my DC reel ,no more backlash just fun casting . It sure chainged my mind about bait casters . I have friends who got theirs after using mine . If you dont like it ,you have 30days to send it back ,but you wont !!!
