Line color and Crappie (and other panfish)

I have both high vis yellow and blue 20# braid on reels. The yellow is easier to see for me.

When i was a pup my grandpa & uncles caught all their fish on black dacron line. It wasn't thin lightweight line either. They caught crappie & catfish on the same line. No mono leader. There was a tan colored dacron & a camo colored but they only used black. I use flurocarbon leader on everything but catfish.
