Too much of a mirror image of each side to be natural. It is something, but damned if I can tell you what!

Maybe a scraping tool, to scrape meat off the bone? Or to crush herbs in a bowl, kind of like a mortar and pestle.

If it’s actually bone it kind of looks like a section of the coccyx or “tail bone”

Looks like an artifact, maybe used to to soften a hide without roughing it up to much.??? I've found stuff just a little bigger than that. I will look thru my books today when making a fishing pole. I need a break anyway.lol. definitely cool looking though.

Alot of people think it's illegal to hunt and pick up artifacts. It's not. Either president Nixon or Carter passed a law making it legal. Cuz they enjoyed the hunt as well. I go out every chance I get. The most I found in one day in Wyoming was 22 down in Texas my brother and I found over 60 in 2 days in a field that was used for deer food.

Well, I woke expecting the worst Mike, but we only got a couple inches of snow here a barely a breeze. It was 3* when I got up but feels warmer lol. I will getcha some pics tho. I don't have anyone working today so I shouldn't have to drive on the highways. Unless an emergency at a gas plant or something.hope not.

Here's what it looks like out the front door at my other house/mother inlaws. Now the wind is starting up coming out of the east. This is a book I have on arrowheads, it explains the era and tribes from thousands of years ago to present day.

Here's a few from all different eras from tools to spear points to tiney arrow heads. The two in the center I found next to a fire pit still intact, one on each side hiding down in a mud crack. The big brown one that looks like a you know what is an Indian sex toy. Lol the little bowl with red in it was used to grind Indian paint brush.it still has the stain and if wet can still get color out if it.

Some really neat stuff you got there Egg. Your neck probably hurts from walking around looking at the ground. LOL. You apparently live in a great area to look for those Native American treasures. Best of luck to ya and stay cold! 🥶🥶
