Lonny & Manny: Sorry for dragging us off topic, I just get distraught about about California, I spent 57 years there. I don’t know why I sounded off in this topic, I will try to behave better.
Lonny: I hope that you can find some fishing buddies nearby, perhaps you can find some local fishermen to team up with. Keep trying while fishing various lakes nearby, some others may also be ready for a group fishing trip to other lakes that they have been to. Good Luck and post pictures for us, please.

Lonny--- Here's my apology for bushwacking your ask for a fishing buddy. I sincerely apologize. Now for what it's worth to you here's my own solution to my same problem. I now take my girlfriend fishing with me. Sometimes we slip off in the morning before my wife get up other times we'll slip off when I'm supposed to taking the trash out. She warships me, never complains, always ready when I say fishing. She's my 🐕. Try it you'll love it. 😍👌✌.
