Kerry, Did you get in on any Albacore this season? My wife I visit her mother in Silverdale area. Its a great week! I never see my mother in law. LOL I fish Westport with some friends I made up there with boats.
Fantastic fishery, I come back to the in laws 1 day before I fly out with bags of Albacore, Salmon and Crab.
She says I'm free to visit anytime.
That was WF&G Checking out our catch. We were legal. We had to release a lot of salmon to get the right ones for our limit.

Those are some really chunky Salmon, you did good. It has been a couple of years since I have gone on an over night trip tuna trip about 70 miles out where we sleep on way out and fish all day then sleep the night for the trip back in. I don't think I am up to doing it any more. Loved those trips.
I do that sometimes in San Diego. In Westport we left early and would fly out at 35 knots on a 23 foot GW in 15 foot mixed swells with wind blowing 15 .
Funny I got them laughing when they were talking chit about the CA kid couldn't handle the weather..
They decided I could stick around when 40 miles offshore and a few guys puking overboard I said
(while eating a sandwich) When will the weather get bad?
But I know what you mean. It sure can wear a fellow out.
I have been fortunate to be able to handle rough water starting being in a Typhoon between Midway and Yokosuka in 1959.
I should add, it wasn't the rough water it was fighting those torpedoes all day.
