I've been to half moon bay but I've never fished it. how far out do you have to go? that's where mavericks is located, some hellacious surf. nice fish, thanks for posting and sharing. and welcome to the stage.

The plastic coffee cups from the 60s that were orange had nuclear induced into them so they would be bright orange. makes one wonder if that is not what made the fish turn orange.

Nice fish, Lip Ripper! Are the salmon still running in HMB too? Some day I will go out there on my kayak and fish for those rock fish and salmon!

Nope, but I did get a couple of chubby cabezone. They have to be 15" minimum, and the ones I caught were 17+
