Four and BF

Four and BF are landing at an unfamiliar airport. The control tower gives them a runway assignment, and they start their approach.
Four says, "Does that runway look kind of short to you?"
BF says, "It sure does."
"I thought it was supposed to be longer than that"
"Me too"
"Better set full flaps."says Four
"Full flaps set."answers BF
Four says"I want thrust reversers the minute we touch."
"Standing by on the thrust reversers."replies BF
"And full power once thrust reversers are set."says Four
"Roger that." from BF
"I'm gonna try to catch the very end of the runway and stand on the brakes. Stand by to reverse thrust."declares FourLanding safely,Four says"Whew,that is one short runway

"Yeah"says BF
"But look how wide it is!"
BF and Four were on a road trip to Houston Texas
They see a sig(Houston left)n that says
"Houston left," so they turned around and went back home.

They were going to visit San Diego. Knowing the heavy Hispanic heritage, everything has the streets and towns, the J''s are pronounced as H.
An example is La Jolla, is actually Pronounced "La Hoy ah"
When asked when they would visit they replied
"Oh huun or huly" LOL

Having landed on I-10 and looking around, one of these experts said, Man this is the shortest runway I have ever seen. To which his copilot said, Yeah, but it sure is wide! Just Sayin...RJS

SAN is notorious for being difficult to land in. There's only one runway ( the busiest single runway in the U.S.)
it's not that long, and your descent is right over the rooftops of San Diego. I was living there when this happened. Tragic.
