That last one is precisely why I live where I do.....Galice is about 42 miles from my house and on the Rogue River.....and where Zane Grey's cabin still stands.

I concur, Zane....I am happy to simply be here in such a beautiful place, and oh..... there's salmon and steelhead to be had, as well ?.... what a pleasure, just to look around at what nature wrought !

Thanks BF, all are good. Big fan of Steven Wright...... have several boats, so as to avoid HIS quip !

Good ones. I haven’t seen many of those. It’s true though. There’s two types of angling. Fishing and catching. Fishing is a guarantee (well in some states) catching is a whole different ball game. I have a buddy who’s a fishing guide on the Columbia River. He tells his clients “I can guarantee you some fishing. If you want a catching guarantee Safeway is a better option than going with me”. Of course that’s Oregon where you can’t keep most of what you catch anyway.
