Picked up this beast of a boat today for $350 trolling motor included.
Pretty sick actually. Do those chairs swivel?

... that would make this thing so much cooler if the chairs swiveled.
Even if they don't swivel I have to think a few minor alterations would provide that feature.

Two boards, a handful of screws, one of those ring caster thingies (idk the name) and you’re set!

Just go to the hardware store and ask for a really beefy lazy susan.

They do swivel. They have some minor cracks in them but I plan to put something a little more comfy in.

I saw one similar for sale at Academy Sports. Once you get a chance to take it out can you update us on how it is? I was thinking of getting it, but don't know anyone who has 1 like it.

I have one and I really enjoy it. I run a trolling motor off the back like an outboard and just putter around my fishing holes. It doesn't go very fast but it is very stable.

I have had one of these for about 15 years. The chairs did swivel until a small tornado decided I didn't need them anymore. Lifted them right out and I never found them. The interior of the pontoons can fill with water if left out in the rain, so best to keep it under shed or turned over when not in use. I bought it from Academy along with a small trolling motor to use in my 4.5 acre pond. It is a great little boat for one or two, and is stable in an angling fight with a large fish. Easy to just leave a chair on the bank when fishing alone. It is very easy to maneuver with a trolling motor, but not so good for a single person paddling. My dogs loved riding in it while I fished so they could go nuts over caught fish (RIP, Goujon and Sprockett - The 2 best rat terriers ever). My kids and their friends could not destroy it, despite their efforts. Anyway, as one who has used it a lot, I would buy it again.

I have two big dogs 70lbs each. I’ll plan to only bring one at a time. Or my girlfriend...most likely the dogs though. Lol

I think I would have shopped around. Can pick those up around here for less than 100.00.
Looks to me a lot like a West Virginia house boat.
I made mine out of two 55-gallon drum halves. I call it "My Sweetie Redneck." I painted it a variety of grays so I can hide it in parking lots. Did get it run over by a semi once. Took the driver back to our cabin where we killed and ate him. Also made some jerky with what we didn't.
Had one for several years and really enjoyed it. Actually caught more and bigger fish out of it than my bass boat. It can go in very shallow water where other boats can't go but I also took it on the Alabama River and had no problems. I could stand up in mine and pee. Can't do that in a lot of other small boats. Hauled it in the back of my truck and also on a small utility trailer. I even put a Hummingbird LCD on it. Used it in a lot of state lakes and ponds. Keep your mind open and you will be happy with it.
