welcome, i'am fredericksburg and have been catching a few at hunting run resv, the ni resv. both in spotsylvania county.mostly on plastic worms. good luck.

just returned from fishing the cacapon river at Largent WV. the fall bite is on. small, and largemouths the rest of this month should be good

jib603: Well, what if you got in trouble while in your canoe? I suggest put your phone in a zip lock and seal it, just in case you were to need it while afloat. Remember, "Help! I've fallen and cannot get up?" Just Sayin...RJS

my biggest smallie was 20" it didn't have a fat belly, but had to 4# or better......yeah i know, sounds like a fish tale!

jl603: Sounded like a nice fish. I have never caught a small mouth bass. Mainly because I've never fished waters were any lived. Just Sayin....RJS
