I’ve seen young people wearing baseball type caps with the bill on the side.
The only ones I can find all have the bill on the front.
Where can I find one of these? I have an irresistible urge to look like a douchebag

It appeared years ago, that many baseball teams back in the late 70s and ? early 80s, especially college teams like U-Texas, wore them that way as 'rally caps.' I don't know why, but eventually they made it into the urban culture for who knows what reason. But, I agree that, in most cases, it does look ridiculous. BTW, the following are from Wikipedia:

'A rally cap is a baseball cap worn inside-out and backwards or in some other unconventional manner by players and/or fans to will a team to a come-from-behind victory late in a game. The rally cap is primarily a baseball superstition but has been adopted in various forms in other sports such as hockey.'

'The rally cap as a good luck talisman is said to have made its first appearance in the Major Leagues during the 1977 and 1978 Texas Rangers seasons when the team finished second in their division with the rally cap being employed in several of their come-from-behind victories.'

Come on you guys, it makes em look cool. Maybe. I like the ones that wear em backwards then use there hand to block the 😎 sun. Not realizing that the bill in the hat could do the job. Just amazing how stupid people are willing to look just to be cool. I don't get it.lol

Never gave any thought to the irony in that.

Only time backward is acceptable is when underway in the boat.
Keeps it from blowing off into the water

What is really cool is having the bill perfectly flat and leaving the sticker label on

Explain to me why the Southern California Angels MLB team would send their 'rally monkey' to Monterrey, Ca.?

I just remember going over there to the pier and there was this old dude and his monkey sittin there with his hat in his hand. Monkey didn't do anything that I saw but sit there, look just like that rally monkey, and take peoples money in his hat. It'd grin every once in a while then look at the ol dude like he was lookin to see where the next blow was gonna come from, frown would replace the grin, he'd hunch up his shoulders and wrinkle his brow, then go back to grinnin and chatterin. Probably not the same monkey, but then you know, to me? They all ............................ shut up Spirit.
