Hopefully, no one will take this the wrong way, as I'm not putting down or dissing anyone's religion or beliefs; I'm just not religious, and so therefore somewhat
irreverent, especially in my
humor - you might just say it's
a little warped (go ahead, say it;
SAY IT !)

Does anyone else see a slight resemblance here, at least in position/posture ? Some semblance in attitude, maybe ? Our 'uncle' looks kinda were serious, sedate, determined, while 'ol' forktail' looks more 'amused', more mischievous ! They both want something (someone ?) ! YOU !

Already done my part with Uncle Sam years ago; now that the end is nearing (as I ain't no 'spring chicken'), it's getting near time
to confirm my reservation 'downstairs' with my 'buddy' (remember, this is all 'tongue-in-cheek', folks) !

Photo three; What HE'LL have to deal with regarding MY attitude when I get there ! If he thinks he'll be making me miserable, he'd best remember that THAT is a two-way street; I usually give as good as I get, so it won't be a picnic for him, either !

If you don’t have religion why would you go anywhere? The whole belief thing is where all the details are enveloped in. It’s like when someone tells me there is no such thing as god etc but they believe their is a devil.

The whole thing is impossible without believing in it. Lucifer was created and then on goes the rest of the story. Just my two cents. If you don’t believe then don’t be worried about your destination. Just being worm meal can’t be all bad most critters go that way. From what I have come to understand Darwin always said science is only answer to everything but when he was nearing death changed his opinion and admitted it is very possible there is a more than just science. At least here in America you have the option of believing what you want. That may even include believing that Arizona is hotter than down below.

Didn't say I had no religious beliefs; I was raised Roman Catholic, but drifted away from practicing any formal religion at an early age ! Not being a
religious person just means that
I don't like/agree with/follow any religious precepts, not that
I don't have my own beliefs !

Well, I’m sorry FOR you, BigA. I really, sincerely am. I would have to disagree with you that we are “all way too serious” about this subject of God. Even the non-
believers on FS stop short of making fun and “laughing” about the subject. YOU are the one in the minority here and I’m not preaching, just stating the obvious. I still love you and will pray for you, whether you want me to or not. 🙏🏻😔

is ! I am not laughing at anyone here; those who are religious are just fine with me, so long as they don't bend my ear preaching ! To
many of you, it is serious business, and I get that ! You
need to understand (without criticizing) that I, on the hand,
find many things hard to take seriously anymore, and that this
is JUST my warped sense of humor and nothing else ! It was merely an effort at humor, and
my humor obviously isn't for everyone ! Wasn't trying to offend, and I believe that was also stated at the head of that post !
