My names Doug and I live in San Diego. I fish salt water exclusively, with the exception of when my friend gets me to fish on the lakes.
I own my own boat and keep it on the water. I try to fish at least once a week. This year mostly taking grandkids out (9)

Well hey Doug! I used to live down there and I fished from shore almost exclusively. Fished a lot in IB and over on the sub base in Point Loma. Where do you keep your boat? And what do you fish for?

Hi, Mission Bay! The sub base is a good spot! When I fish IB area its usually for bass in about 200 feet of water

From a few reply's of the other intro some had wondered about my call sign Reel Hip.
I had a total hip operation Jan 2006.I have titanium hip and I told the Dr to put a little reel grease in it to make it work smooth. My dad died in march 06 and his final words to me was "you need a bigger boat"! Well I bought the Skipjack in April of 06 and named it. Yup you guessed it!
