If the past few days are any sign of how the fall surf fishing will be here on western Long Island I’m in for a great season. Small blues, shad (which we never see) and the rare weakfish. I also took my first striper this morning. Hoping it keeps up.

Hop they swing in and follow the coast instead of running south 20 miles out where you can't touch them
