I fish on a lake but it looks like a river The water level goes up and down depending on how much water they let out of the dam.

Hey Teach do they sound an alarm when opening the gates?

I used to fish the Conowingo Dam on the MD / Penn line and we would just have enough time to reel in and that water was rushing bye.

I also fished the Susquehanna river below Conowingo Dam. Shad run in March and April and caught some nice walleye. That's the only thing I really miss about Maryland that and great crabbing.

Hey oz that is similar to what we have here on the White below Bull Shoals with the water releases but they have been running 7 of the 8 generators since we got here last Saturday. They are only running partial open tubes so the cfs is the equivalent of 5 full on . The Norfork river looks very similar to what ITFF is showing in his photos. You should come an hour and a half further to the Bull Shoals area because there is very little traffic in this area. I would send pics of trout we have caught but my service won't allow that. Maybe when I get back to Peoria. The wife, daughter, and I limited out on some pretty nice bows the last two days and have caught several browns around 12 inches. They have to be 24 inch minimum to keep. Beautiful weather down here this time of year.
