Got a boat but need help identifying. Can’t find ANY distinctive features an would like to know the make an model. Previous owner said he bought it used an all he was told was it was from the early 70’s

No tag an SMALLER lakes for sure. Came with 9 horse motor I want to get checked out an trolling motor which I will replace with a more powerful one. It’s a 15 footer

There should be a tag with a hull number stamped on it, somewhere on the inside of the transom. Could be painted over several times by now...
Possibly, that could be traced to ID your boat?
Looks nice, you're getting lined up for some good fishing!

Looks like the style of Mirrocraft from back in the day, but many used the rounded corners on the gunnel caps.

I had a 70 cris craft and the metal tag was under quite a few coats of paint when a friend gave it to me.

In Texas, I think there is some provision about a home-made boat or trailer. You need to check out the rules and regulations where you live. Just Sayin....RJS
