He's (Spirit) right about that hook being way too close to the eyes !
It should be covered with a hook guard, or cork, or whatever you can find/think of to lessen the danger of getting hooked in a sensitive or vital area ! I've been hooked enough times in the past
(including one incident where
I ended up wearing a size #10 Wooly Bugger for an ear-ring
while learning how to double-
cast a fly rig) that I can honestly say - "It ain't nothin' nice !"
