Will The United States Of America Ever Have a Generation Of People That Can Measure Up To These 7 Standards?




(1.) Personal Responsibility: The harsh reality of the Great Depression forced many to a higher standard of personal responsibility, even as children.๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ


(2). Humility: The Great Depression fostered modesty and humility in many of those who lived through scarcity.๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ


(3). Work Ethic: Hard work enabled survival during both the depression and the war. Many jobs at the time were physically demanding, with long hours.๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ


(4). Frugality: Saving every penny and every scrap helped families survive through times of shortage. โ€œUse it up, fix it up, make it do, or do withoutโ€ was a motto of their time.๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ



(5). Commitment: One job or one marriage often lasted an entire lifetime.๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
