Good chilly morning to All. Hope for those with fires that they are being contained, for those with water at their doorstep hope it is receding, and for the many sick on this site, I wish comfort upon your ailments.

Amen to that! Have a great day everyone.

Nope not this time F.D. I don't take either one. If I get bound up I eat a bowl of beans. If I can't sleep I read a book.😆 I've had a lot of beans and read a lot of books this summer!!😂

Good mornin’ , everybody. Nice day in Lawrence today.
Went to radiology at hospital this morning to get shot up with dye. Having bone scan this pm.
I asked the tech what the scan was supposed to show. He said several things like arthritis, space around prosthetic knee, and possible cracks in bone or cement.
I said “oh, so they’ll know how big a jack hammer they will need to get this 10 year old knee out ?
He said “well, maybe....” hahaha.

Y’all have a great day!!

Good luck with the bone scan Randy. At least things seem to be moving forward for you. A jack hammer, huh? Seems like a bit of overkill for a knee operation.

Well, when I asked the surgeon earlier how they get the fake knee back out, he said it was kinda like a miniature jackhammer/Dremel. Along with a hammer and chisel.
He chips away at it till it loosens enough to pull it out. It’s installed with stuff like concrete or mortar, so it takes more than solvent to remove it. Sounds like a tedious job to me. Glad I’ll be sleeping!

They have to be strong enough to yank that old knee out.

You will be fine grasshopper. They will fix you up like new. We will have to see if you can still hit the jumper after you get the new knee.
