Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them you will be a mile away and have their shoes.

My wife says I don't listen to her when she talks. Or something like that.

Question of the day -- If your wife doesn't have sex with you (and hasn't for over a year), and works second shift so you almost never see her, and you do nothing together, is that a marriage or simply someone who helps pay the bills?

Mornin' G Man and everyone else. 54* now, 70* later, breezy, gust to 30 MPH. We have a surprise retirement picnic to go to this afternoon. It's down in a valley so it might not be to bad down there. It's only about 5 miles away, so, we can always come back home.

An update on my bride, who was diagnosed with lung cancer about 5 weeks ago. She went through all of the tests, biopsies, and, what not the first two weeks. Since then, nothing. We have been waiting for the results from Rochester Mayo to be sent down to La Crosse Mayo and then a meeting to be set up with the oncologist to decide on the treatment plan. We have just been waiting, while the cancer has been metastasizing. The G Man asked me how I liked Mayo, Well,,,,,,, I have survived malinoma, prostrate and bladder cancer with them plus I have basil cell carcinoma. They have done a good job with me but I can't say that with my wife. I'll keep you posted.

Fly - I feel for you and the wife. I had to wait 10 days to get results from Mayo and then another week to have surgery. The waiting will eat you up. Maybe you need to make some phone calls and rattle some cages for an answer. I know people say "if they knew something they would call." Time to put the pressure on somebody to get treatment started. If you need to -- get pissed.

Give the wife a hug. She needs you now. Phone calls get made tomorrow. Have fun today.

We have been calling LaCrosse, but they can't do anything until Rochester send the results down. We have no idea who to call in Rochester. LaCrosse is supposed to have been calling Rochester, who knows. Thanks, G Man.

Must be a lab or a contact person LaCrosse has for results. Get the lab name or contact person from LaCrosse. They must have it. Call straight to Rochester.
