The ‘snapper’ is a young bluefish . The sea robin is also known as a Gurnard. I don’t eat sea robin though some say it’s good. The snapper blue fish is the only size bluefish that I’ll consider eating. As they get larger, bluefish take on a very strong ‘fishy’ flavor.
For the most part, I’m only catching these fish for my dog. And Boy does he sleep well after a day of fishing !!

Haha that is one cute dog! I had sea robin for the first time in June and thought it was delicious!

When he was a pup all the girls called him Pooka too Cute.
I named him after the movie ‘Harvey’,
‘Pooka: from ancient Celtic mythology; a benign yet mischievous spirit that always appears in large animal form ‘.
Yes, he has always been very mischievous !!
