A ten foot section cut from a Locust tree, I mispelled it... a Locust tree is the toughest wood In this neck of the woods, I've seen seen Sparks fly when the Chainsaw tied into it!

Sounds like what we call 'ironwood' out here in Arizona !
Very dense, very heavy, and takes to cutting like it was petrified !

Since the heading of this topic
is "The deer hunting party",
maybe some of you might enjoy
a little humor on the subject !
For those of you who have never heard it and could use a chuckle (or two), the tune is called " The Second Week of Deer Camp" and it's done by a bunch of Yahoos who call themselves
'Da Yoopers' ! Look it up; it'll be
on the 'net' or YouTube
somewhere and should be good for a laugh ! But then, that all depends on one's sense of
humor, now doesn't it ?
(If I ever learn how, hopefully someday soon I'll be able to post these articles/tunes/jokes on the Forum myself, without having folks look them up for
themselves !)
