I have bin fishing caves in the cliffs you look at the spot and cast the ceiling drops off the same as your cast so cool. All fish on whopper plopper the striper I though I had a 8 lb bass

I spent many summers in the 70's, 80's, 90' and 00's at Lake Powell. Caught countless stripers. I love that lake. How's the water level? It was 225 feet down the last time I was there.

The lake is only going further down. With all the new construction going on all over the west, everyone wants to take water out of the green River drainage for housing development.. a guy in Colorado wants to put a pipeline from the Flaming Gorge to Colorado for a new housing project that has no water????? Another from down buy St George Utah wants a pipeline from lake Powell. The people from South of here in Wyoming are already feeling the burn from drought years.there talking about cutting the people from upstream off to make sure the rich folks can fill there swimming pools and hot tubs. Lake Powell and lake Mead are mirror puddles of what they once were. I wonder if those rich folks know how much yellow snow melt is goin in there pools. The German Browns down river are multiplying daily. Lol.
