I have been fishing since I can remember and I am 74 years old. The list of fish I have not pursued is shorter than the list of fish I have pursued. More fresh water than salt water. I had a cabin cruiser in the Delta for 30 years. Fished more of the open water than the back water.

I have some equipment for Delta fishing I am interested in passing on to someone. I would like the equipment to go to someone with some special need. Combat Vets, younger people wanting to learn more about fishing, someone that would appreciate having some equipment with a history. My kids are not interested in fishing the way I have been. They have their own life to live and God Bless them for going their way.

Chico is my base and I would prefer to deal with someone nearby.

These days I fish occasionly with friends when they invite me. Usually the Sacramento River or Lake Shasta.

Healing Waters is an organisation that helps disabled and physically challenged VETS . They teach them how to use fishing equipment. Supply them with the rod and reel, and is theirs to keep along with any other equipment that they use. Google HEALING WATERS to find information. If you have problems contacting someone pm me and I'll get it and send it to you. Several members of our VFW are volunteers that work with the veterans.
