My brothers out on the lake, never been there, two days no bite tried for walleye which he is experienced in and for lake trout. Guess the locals even guides ain’t doing much. Need some hows and where’s. Thanks

Shut Up,?? Lol what a name. I just got back from Fort Peck last week. It was tough but we hooked up. Caught most walleye on green and chartruse colors fish off the points between the bays. 18'-25' of water. Caught most between .8to1 mph. We didn't catch walleye up in the bays, but did get bass and nothern Pike in the bays. We did best on the west/Northwest facing points. Will attach a map n spinner rigs we used. These rigs we most productive. We tried a BUNCH of combos. Used 3oz bottom bouncers to keep under the boat.Remember slow troll .hope this helps.

Thanks he’s experienced with walleye but from gillette and his friend is experienced salmon but Great Lakes. He trolled and jigged the dam with nothing now trying north side of york island for lakers

The salmon were moving while I was there one day they were stacked in front of the dam. Next day they were gone. We found em up behind the islands a couple miles just off the points at the bottom of the picture and a bunch of them. 40 to 110 feet and watched them come up and down into a bait ball.right before dark.

He appreciates the info and I told him to text me when he gets bit, my trip offshore Ilwaco wa for tuna got cut short due to all of Oregon being on fire and smoke so bad 35 miles offshore we couldn’t breathe and 10 ft from the giant buoy marking the entrance to the Columbia river it couldn’t be seen got to the home to the gorge even worse everyone’s stuck inside with hepa filters full bore.

Shutupandfish is way cool dude. I talked to him about a week ago. It was just before the fire. I am looking forward to fishing with him and maybe can meet him on way through the gorge in these next few weeks.

I should be around in the evenings gotta gravel job starting tomorrow thru October, all fun and fishing had come to an end. Changes in life coming soon. 4 fishing trips a year isn't working for me anymore. My lazy a$$ brothers can figure out how to go camping all summer and hunting now until ??? Oh wait there gone all year.lol. but that will end soon!!!!! Changes coming.!!!!!

I am getting my brother in Gillette to sign on sounds like he needs to bring egghead on his boat to learn about lake trout, don’t have to know everything just have to be willing to learn
