Augusta Pike

I just joined this forum a couple of weeks ago to get some advance info on fishing in the Savannah River. I'm an avid fisherman/bi-vocational pastor and chef. When I get time away from my busy schedule I head to the water to fish.
I had the chance to visit my kids and grandson in Augusta, GA over Labor Day weekend. I was there to help my 4 year old grandson catch his first fish (5th grandson to be present with on the first fish). I was also able to catch a pike on a crankbait in the Savannah River. I didn't know they were present there, so it was a nice surprise.
