Couple of over easies, couple of biscuits some grits and sausage gravy. Tiger Sauce and some "I put that sh*t on everything" - cause I couldn't find my damn Tabasco. Could it be that I'm out? We'll hafta see cause that's definitely a staple at Spirit's place. Made those grits with some "slap yo mama" seasoning and a little shrimp bullion. A little salty for my taste, but pretty good. Now what you don't see is it all stuck up in my mustache. Oh well.
Again - good morning. Make it a good one, and be safe!

I've learned over the years that it varies with individuals and their perceptions of what constitutes SOS.

But we might all agree that it looks like ( S ), no matter the version.

My understanding of SOS closely aligns with what I read in your previous post, especially the creamed beef, though it is not the only version I have eaten. Squid chow was some good chit.

Not even close. K-rations & C rations were, for the most part, crap. MRE meals aren't half bad. A younger Veteran I knew gave me a case of 'em for taking with me while camping. After trying 'em, they weren't bad. But I preferred cooking my own meals. So, I gave the rest to my former medic nephew for his camping trips. He had become familiar with 'em from his tours in the ME, both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Most K & C rations were packed in rectangular, circular or square tin cans. Often in 'Nam, I was given rations that dated back to WWII. Ask any 'Nam Veteran about 'ham & m-f***ers'.

Dang that is darn near cruelty to pawn that crap off. It's a wonder they didn't leave it in the field for the enemy to eat.
