I use two different trailer depths when loading by myself. One's for the cold water, the other for warm water. From the looks of that picture, I'm thinking the water temp is in the 40''s. Lol

The boat isn't even hooked to the trailer. He could have pushed the boat back out in the water, fallen on his a$$, broke a leg so that he couldn't chase his boat down. Not a smart thing to do.

That is not, saw.

Exactly! There were a half dozen ways he could have seriously injured himself. Well, Darwin's survival if the fittest. Just Sayi...RJS

Mind over matter - if he don’t mind guess it shouldn’t matter. Stupid is as stupid does.

OK, now listen guys. I can see all those things y'all mentioned and in appearance, those things might be true. But here's the rest of the story:

First, Yes, that is no other than me, Saw1.
Second, The water temp is in the 70s.
Third, My boat isn't hooked up yet because I just drove it up on the trailer.
Fourth, The boat is FIRMLY on the trailer because you have to get a runnin start and use the motor to get it up that far. To get it off I'd have to back the trailer further into the water.
Fifth, It's in the 90*s and I could have gotten in the water but it's easier to step out of the boat that way.
Sixth, Thankfully I'm still agile and physically able to keep my balance enough to do that.

I totally agree that some of you aren't physically able to do things like that and I wouldn't want you to try it.
My weekday fishin partner Steve wouldn't/shouldn't do that.
I do thank you all for your concern though. It shows y'all care that we shouldn't do certain things.
Hopefully we can all meet next May and see first hand the physical limitations that each one of us faces and can see more clearly what others can and cannot do. Thanks Guys.

Hoss: Just keep on, Mother Nature will tell yhou when to slow down or change. I have fallen in my boat when it was in the sling in the boathouse. Be glad you are still able to do a lot of "wild and crazy things" Because there will come a time when you will find you no longer can! I personally did not mean to disparage you, but just to point out the dangers. Just Sayin....RJS

Thanks RJS. I do understand there will come a time I can no longer do certain things that are potentially dangerous. I just hope and pray that I come to realize when that time has come WITHOUT having a bad accident.
I truly am blessed to be able to still do so many things I've always done.
My fishin partner Brad always tells me how fortunate I am to still be as active as I am.
Thank you Lord for granting me the ability to still be able to do the things I love to do so much.

Now Saw.... I hope you know I was just funning you! Don't make me have to post a polaroid of me carrying my boat over one shoulder, the trailer over the other and pushing my truck with a dead battery up the ramp with one foot! LMAO

I figgered as much brother. From the looks of the pic though, it looks like I'm afraid to get in the water.
Had it not been for the guy wanting to take my pic AND if it had been any hotter, I would definitely have gotten in the water to hook up my boat. I just didn't think about it cooling me off at the time or I probly would have anyway.
